Adam wanted a jungle theme with swinging monkeys, bright colors and --because of his very cool bed-- elements of baseball incorporated in the mural.  

 

Some of the features I created for this project include:

• 3 floor-to-ceiling custom built trees (one with a desk area and on adjustable legs to grow with Adam, one with a hinged front and knotholes for stuffed animals to sit in and one that was a standard bookcase)

• Painted fabric overlays for the tops of the bookcases to continue the foliage motif over the tree tops

• Coordinating wooden window inserts 

• Refinished existed side table to coordinate with the bedroom makeover
